The Summer Set and Against The Current Reflect on Their Youth in ‘Teenagers’ + Announce New LP

Anyone else vibing high on the fact that The Summer Set are back in their element this year? They made a splash with ‘Street Lightning‘ and have since followed it up with the affirmative hit ‘Back Together’. The US pop punk act are now confirming their return to the limelight with nostalgic anthem ‘Teenagers‘, and this time they’re bringing along their friends Against the Current along.

A song that looks back on young love, teenage romance and our carefree youth, ‘Teenagers‘ manages to reel you in with catchy pop sensibility and upholds arena-like singalong potential. It reminds us of the band’s biggest breakthrough, when they released Legendary in 2013 as well as a blend of their last LP, Stories For Monday.

With The Summer Set poised to perform on Sad Summer Fest in the USA this year, a full-length return to form is imminent. The band have just announced the first part of their forthcoming album, Blossom will be released on September 9.
