Punk Supergroup Beach Rats Share a Quick ‘Heavy Conversation’

Members of Bouncing Souls, Bad Religion and Lifetime have teamed up to form the punk rock supergroup, the Beach Rats. If we’re going off the group’s first single off their forthcoming debut LP, Rat Beat (out July 29) and you’re a bit of a punk rock fiend, this one’s going to prick your ears right up!

Coming at us at a mere 1 minute and 23 seconds, ‘Heavy Conversation‘ is an intense, rowdy AF blend of old school punk and is played best as LOUD as you want. It needs no bells or whistles to be great, because these legendary musicians use their natural talent behind their instruments to work their magic. Guitarist Brian Baker really summed it best with:

It’s loose, it’s imperfect, don’t overthink it. It’s the experience of doing it. The time travel, that’s what it’s about.”

If you feel like you’ve been overthinking a little too much, get Beach Rats into your veins and just go with the motions.
