Yellowcard's Collective Teasing Has... Been Announced!

UPDATE: They're reuniting for Riot Fest in the US this September
It has been more than 5 years since we have shared a stage together. When we stepped away in 2017, all of us thought it was truly the end. However our journey together continues to surprise us. We are so excited to share that we will be playing on September 17, 2022 at Riot Fest in Chicago, IL. Tickets are available now, and we can’t wait to sing with you again. - Ryan, Sean, Ryan, & Josh

I'm not on the verge of crying tears of happiness, you are.
Yellowcard famously called it a day back in 2016, with their self-titled LP being their final release. But now it seems there's movement surrounding the band once again. Pop punk fans went into a frenzy today after witnessing all four Yellowcard members posting the exact same tile on their social media accounts.
While the band's main social media account remained dormant, the tile posted on frontman William Ryan Key, violinist Sean Mackin, guitarist Ryan Mendez and bassist Josh Portman's socials depicts an image of the ocean with a sunset backdrop with only three words - NINE TWENTY TWO. These numbers open up endless possibilities for what they could be teasing. The most obvious referring to the date — September (the ninth month of the year) and 2022.

I don't know about you, but this image is also giving me big Ocean Avenue/Southern Air vibes. Whatever the boys are apparently teasing, could this also have anything to do with the 20th anniversary of their staple record, Ocean Avenue in 2023?
Definitely watch this space very closely over the next few days. When we know more, you'll absolutely know more too.
