Nerve Damage Surprise Release “Drip Fed. Misled.” EP feat. Joel Birch on Title Track

Following on from their 2021 release Society Made Me Sick, hardcore punks Nerve Damage have come back swinging with a killer three-track EP that’s going to stir up the scene in a good way!

The Yugambeh / Bundjalung band today debut their new Drip Fed. Misled. EP featuring collaborations with Buzz Kull & 3NDLES5 and the title track in which they’ve invited fellow North Coast Hardcore scene veteran Joel Birch of The Amity Affliction on guest vocals. Both bands aren’t strangers to each other with Nerve Damage opening for Amity’s tours pre and post-pandemic – so it was only a matter of time before this collabo came about according to the band

“After reconnecting and reminiscing on those days and their similar ethos in the current day, it felt natural to include him on this intense two-and-a-half-minute punch to the face.”

On the new EP vocalist Shaun Allen explains:

“The EP talks about a change coming after struggling for every little bit we can get our hands on. A system that continually feeds us crumbs and keeps us struggling to keep our heads above water, but making out like we are privileged and lucky to be in that position.”

With voting open for the next election, it’s no better time to think about making change and if you need a heavy hardcore soundtrack to help you make those decisions, go no further than this band!

Nerve Damage performs live at the first Back on the Map – Hardcore Festival in Sydney on June 12th.
