Motionless In White Shares Second Single, An Absolute ‘Masterpiece’

Motionless In White Slaughterhouse Review

Last month the metalcore world stopped in their tracks for Motionless In White‘s cataclysmic new single ‘Cyberhex‘ featuring composer Lindsay Schoolcraft. Before fans even had to time recover from the influx of Chris Motionless‘ “blegh!”, the heavyweights announced their sixth record Scoring The End Of The World, set for release on June 10, 2022 via Roadrunner Records.

Today MIW have shared track six of their thirteen track album, and it’s called ‘Masterpiece‘, an apt adjective for the single too. The three-minute track starts with a little less fuel than ‘Cyberhex‘ but is a take on more of their melodic side. ‘Masterpiece‘ sounds a bit like Breaking Benjamin if they went metalcore. With Chris channelling his poetic side, the rest of the band gear up for romantic crescendo. There’s still a shiny little breakdown that’ll have you wagging your tail. This is an incredible track, however ‘Masterpiece‘ is clearly a single to convey variety on upcoming LP, Scoring The End Of The World.
