Terror Engage In Beatdown Chaos With 'Boundless Contempt'

Hardcore legends Terror are set to reveal their eighth record Pain Into Power on May 6 via Pure Noise Records, and we were first captivated by its ferocity with lead-single 'Can't Help But Hate', featuring no other than Cannibal Corpse's Corpsegrinder. The record has been produced by founding guitarist and now NAILS guitarist Todd Jones, so you know it's going to be a ripper.

With about a month to go until the LP comes out, the LA band have shared second single 'Boundless Contempt' which will give you some energy to get you through the rest of the week. It's hard-hitting, relentless and unforgiving - which is pretty much the signature Terror way.

Vocalist Scott Vogel commented on the new single:

"This is the one song that every member of the band and Todd all had on their list of favourite tracks on the record. The driving speed of the first half of the song is completely unhinged. I remember when figuring out the breakdown, there was the idea of first having a guitar break bring in the ending and it sounded strong. Todd went and demoed it with bass instead which is a little different for Terror and we all instantly agreed that was the right choice. Much thanks to Ben Cook for being there with vocal oversight which now seems like a Terror staple."
