Full Tilt Festival Levels The F Up with Jacked July East Coast Run of Internationals & Locals!
The past two years have been exhausting. We have pushed through the most insane years our lives have ever encountered, but together, we didn’t give in to the pandemic. The heavy music we know and loved helped guide us through the unknown and now we’re getting an opportunity to welcome some of these bands back to our shores as international touring opens back up.
Full Tilt Festival have today emerged with a lineup that feels so insane to be witnessing in our country (let alone 15 minutes from my house in Brisbane) but this isn’t a pipe dream anymore, this is our first taste of something so well known and loved coming back in our sights again.
Full Tilt will be bringing a stack of high-end heavy acts, new emerging superstars and some of Australia’s creme de la creme when they hit the East Coast in July - let's take a look...
Featuring metalcore icons The Ghost Inside, who bossman Browny made honorary Australians when they returned to us in 2020. Underoath, fresh from the release of their stellar album Voyeurist back in January and horrorcore slashers Ice Nine Kills, still bleeding after dropping The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood and sending chills up our spines again. They’ll be joined by the emotively addictive PVRIS who’ll no doubt offer those in attendance a warm shoulder to lean on and forget about troubled pasts… No, I’m serious, you’re going to be seeing these four acts in Australia, in July… wtf!!!

Joining the foursome will be Perth’s Make Them Suffer, who like a rat out of a cage, are ready to take on the live music scene again following their return to the stage at Full Tilt Melbourne last month. Fellow WA free birds Saviour will also jet in for the festival run. Ocean Grove and WAAX* (at Brisbane and Sydney only) are along for the ride, as are fellow emotive rockers The Wonder Years (seriously grab the tissues for their set, it’s gonna be a wet one). Yours Truly will glow upon that stage with Teenage Joans, UK post-hardcore outfit Static Dress and newcomer carolesdughter – who is taking the alternative world by storm (and rumoured to have new music on the way too) and ready for you to see why. To The Grave will bring the heaviness and all of this is legit happening in a couple of months' time.
