Red Hot Chili Peppers Shares Second Single ‘Poster Child’

Red Hot Chili Peppers Not The One Review

Just a few weeks ago we got the giant news that Red Hot Chili Peppers were dropping their first record in in six years, and the first in ten years with returning guitarist John Frusciante. The Californians’ new record Unlimited Love is out on April 1st, 2022 via Warner Bros and the opening single was ‘Black Summer‘, giving us a lot of hope and excitement for the forthcoming album.

Now that Chili Peppers’ fans have composed themselves with the news of the record, John Frusciante, Anthony Keidis, Chad Smith and Flea have unleashed another tune unto the world, this one titled ‘Poster Child‘. The five-minute track features Keidis’ funky rapid style and a relaxing bassline from Flea. Whilst the new single is not anthemic, it’s where Red Hot Chili Peppers master their low-tempo style, not to mention their already-diverse styles on Unlimited Love, an almighty seventeen-track record.
