Foo Fighters have just announced a singular headline show in Geelong, Victoria. The concert will be held at GMHBA Stadium, at full-capacity on Friday, 4th March.
The gig coincides with Victoria’s further easing of restrictions this Friday night (25 Feb, 2022 at 11.59pm).
Frontier Touring describe this event as follows:
“The 12-time GRAMMY winning band will arrive in Australia with this exclusive, one-off concert – Foo Fighters’ first performance down under since 2018. This will be the first time a full-capacity stadium show by any international music artist has taken place in Australia since the COVID pandemic first hit back in March 2020.
News of the Foo Fighters’ upcoming Geelong concert is announced today in partnership with the Victorian Government’s contemporary live music major event ALWAYS LIVE – a brand new, State-wide celebration of contemporary live music taking place later this year.”
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will be supported by Amyl & the Sniffers and the Meanies.
This one-off Foo Fighters gig in Victoria comes as they premiere their new movie Studio 666 in theatres across the world. Get your tickets below.
