Revoid Make Quite the Impression on 'Gloomsayer' + Announce Debut EP

And... the Brisbane music scene does it again!! This time, we're tuning your ears into upcoming metalcore outfit Revoid's brand new track 'Gloomsayer' and oh boy. I repeat, OH BOY. This is a tasty track indeed, particularly if you're into the likes of Wage War and Polaris.
The song stomps right in with a harsh blend of riffs and almost guttering vocals; the bridge reveals a momentary silence before the band unleash into a manic yet powerful chorus. Vocalist Dale Dudeson tells us a little more about the song's essence:
"'Look on the bright side', 'Maybe just sleep on it, things will be better', 'just pray about it'; personally, I believe it irresponsible to dismiss such powerful lessons with idle banalities so casually, and it shows an insane lack of accountability. Everything we experience in our tiny lifespans is far more important than to simply be ignored or bypassed like that, and there is an opportunity to learn in every good and bad experience, however beautiful or hopeless."
Following a slew of one-off singles, including a rendition of 'Cut Me Down' last year, this hard-hitting new single marks Revoid's first taste of their upcoming debut EP, Sleepless Still, out on April 29. It's a strong opener for the Brissie boys for sure and we are on the edge of our seats for what else they have to offer this year.
