Newcomers Everlyne Are A Force to Be Reckoned With!

If you enjoyed Everlyne's debut on WoS last year with their groovy alt/rock debut 'Deranged', we have another one for you! Taking an array of influences from alternative rock and metal, the Melbourne newcomers have developed an edgy, infectious style that has the potential to sway mainstream rock listeners.

'I Swear' sees lead vocalist Mac Shaye taking centre stage with that massive vocal range that could definitely match renowned vocalists Lizzy Hale (Halestorm) and Amy Lee (Evanescence). The song conveys a strong message of empowerment within a grungey guitar riffs before the four-piece head down a darker, heavier path of crushing post-hardcore:

‘I Swear’ is the embodiment of not letting other people influence who you are, how you react and how
you perceive yourself. It is an anthem of self-actualisation within yourself and trying to insight the same
empowerment into those around you. As much as people will try to tear you down and twist you to their will, “don’t let the snake inflict it’s poison.”

The hints of heaviness amongst a melodic pop formula gives Everlyne a unique edge in the Australian upcoming scene. Mac's got an incredibly powerful voice which will surely grab the attention of several and see the band go places. 'I Swear' sees Mac and the boys very much comfortable in their element and confident in their musical abilities.

Favourite Everlyne on your favourite streaming service now because this act are set to soar!
