Kublai Khan TX Spurt Upcoming EP With ‘Swan Song’ Single feat. Scott Vogel of Terror

Hardcore beasts Kublai Khan TX are back with a vengeance, and they’re hear to share news on their upcoming EP titled Lowest Form Of Animal, set for release on April 1st, 2022 via Rise Records. The EP is a follow-up on their Absolute EP in 2019 (read about it in our interview with Matt Honeycutt here). The 2022 release will include the Texans’ single from last year – ‘Resentment‘.

To celebrate the announcement of their five-track EP, Kublai Khan have dropped new single ‘Swan Song‘ featuring the one and only Scott Vogel of hardcore royalty Terror and it will destroy you. Lyrically, it’s a narrative about some of the harshest realities in this life, with vocalist Matthew Honeycutt explaining:

“Seeing the mental and physical damage of the sex trade in every corner and pocket of the USA — most remaining nameless and unsung. For what it’s worth, we seek to share a single story: To reflect the thousands of lives lost in the unforgiving system that operates, unrelentingly, day and night.”

There is no reprieve across the track with both Honeycutt and Vogel’s vocals integrating a decimating sound across a marching drumbeat.
