Set It Off Drop New Single ‘Projector’ Off New Album

Neon-clad pop trio Set It Off continue to be the emo pop superstars they were born to be with their latest track, ‘Projector’. Following on from ‘Skeleton’ last year, the boys are pushing on and embracing their new chapter with forthcoming album, Elsewhere, coming March 11 on Fearless Records.

Long time fans of the band will fully appreciate this ongoing progression into R&B pop territory as the song ties in perfectly with the band’s recent visionaries. It most definitely is Set It Off’s poppiest single by far, but in a good way. I don’t know about you guys, but I enjoyed the band’s Upside Down era way too much. ‘Projector’ sounds a much tighter version of hit songs like ‘Uncontainable’ and ‘Something New’, and it does well in highlighting vocalist Cody Carson’s incredibly dynamic vocal range.

Known for producing some of the funkiest melodies in emo pop, Set It Off will continue to dominate in that arena when new record, Elsewhere lands in everyone’s ears later this year. Overall, the vision of this record is outstanding though. If the boys are attempting to bring back that “neon pop punk” phase of the 2000s, it might just be working…
