Darko Commence Hellish 2022 Plans With ‘Acid Inject’

Darko Come Home Review

Alright, quick recap: Darko (US) is SPITE (also with new music) and ex-Emmure drummer Josh ‘Baby J’ Miller and Chelsea Grin vocalist Tom Barber. In just over a year, these two deathcore maniacs have managed to release two LPs, namely Pt. 1 Dethmask which titillated fans, and then a self-titled record, which really elevated their status.

Late last year, we were also treated to what seems like a standalone single, titled ‘Dragon Chaser‘, but with another single just released titled ‘Acid Inject’, we could see a third album on the horizon from Darko.

Acid Inject‘ may be less than three-minutes, but it is absolutely insane end-to-end. Miller’s drums are psychotic alongside Barber’s animalistic vocal style across a wildly mixed synth-deathcore power combo. It’s hard not to love the perpetual experimental factor of this duo, whilst continuing with their established sound.
