As you read this, just know that Aussie export Nikki Brumen is currently tearing up Norway in Blood Command and leaving her mark on the music scene over that way with a dash of Australia flavour!
And to celebrate, the band have announced their new album and dropped a new song for you to wrap your heads around titled ‘Nuns, Guns & Cowboys‘ which sees the band return to a heavier/scremier sound featuring Brumen’s raspy screams and angelic cleans while the band play ferociously behind her!
On the new track, the band revealed:
“‘Nuns, Guns and Cowboys’ is a song about feeling empowered to believe in what you want. It’s a bit of a ‘f*ck you’ to anyone who might ridicule others for believing in something that may help them get out of bed in the morning. It should be no one else’s business nor should anyone judge someone for something they believe in.”
Damn straight, fuck those people (not literally though).
For those of you wanting more, the band will release their first album with Nikki, titled Praise Armageddonism on July 1st featuring 10 tracks and a hell of a lot of grunt! Turns out the album had been written for some time, but after Nikki’s final touches, it’s ready to be unleashed upon the world:
“Because the album was originally written and recorded with our previous singer, which is now almost three years ago, it feels like the biggest relief being able to finally release it. Recording with Nikki did breathe new life into the record but we are all still so keen to get it out to the world as it’s been a very long journey to get to this point.
