Hot Milk Show Us A Slice of 'The Good Life' in New Video

Do you want a slice of the good life?

If you're referring to the return of live music, then yes I definitely do!

UK's emo-pop breakouts Hot Milk have delivered a taste from their recent headliner in their home country, including a stop on Reading & Leeds Festivals. For us Aussies though, the track sparks inspiration for our summer ahead and the road to some form of normality. Amongst its crunchy pop punk energy, the song acts as a call out to how fucked up and broken society is, which I think is evident from the past two years. 'The Good Life' is an empowering anthem of infectious rock'n'roll and hard-hitting nostalgia for the 2000s, and it's taken from the band's latest EP, I JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I'M DEAD (our review here).

The band have become one of my absolute favourite British acts since their inception, and their latest release has only seen the four-piece (fronted by duo Han Mee and Jim Shaw) growing stronger in their musical abilities. Here's hoping 2022 will finally give Australian Hot Milk fans a taste of 'The Good Life'...
