Fit For A King Recruits Invent Animate Drummer Trey Celaya
Texan metalcore group Fit For A King announced the departure of drummer and co-founder Jared Easterling who also covered clean vocal duties for the band until 2014. In a series of social media posts from the band and Easterling over the weekend, the announcement was made. The long-time drummer summed it up pretty succinctly:
I left metalcore

Days after the announcement, Fit For A King have quickly introduced the band’s new drummer Trey Celaya of Invent Animate who recently signed to UNFD and released The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was (our review here). The officiality of Celaya’s joining comes after he’s been a touring member for quite some time, and is already good friends with the Solid State Records band.
Read the official statement from Fit For A King below:
We are excited to announce that @inventtrey will be joining the band full time playing drums. We have been great friends and have been touring together for a long time already, so this was an easy decision for us to make. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him behind the kit🤘🏻 pic.twitter.com/YNXnC2O3ti

If you’re heading to any shows on their current tour, look out for Celaya and give him a warm welcome.
