Alpha Wolf Celebrate Tour Day With ‘bleed 4 you’ lo-fi Remix
If you’re living in Bendigo, you’re probably already stretching your arms and neck for the big Alpha Wolf show tonight, kicking off the band’s regional Aussie tour. The heavy hitters will be moving through regional cities and towns across the east coast over the next couple of months, not to mention all the festivals they’ll be playing at, namely UNIFY Gathering and Full Tilt.
To celebrate finally jumping on the tour bus after a hairy couple of years, Alpha Wolf have dropped a lo-fi remix of monster 2020 single ‘bleed 4 you‘ via Greyscale / SharpTone Records. If you’re in an ambient mood, but seeking some familiar sounds, you’ll want to spin this new recreation of the single that originally blew all of our minds on first play.
Scottie Simpson – who launched our 2021 Year in Review series on December 1st (read it here) – shared his views on the lo-fi remix revealing:
“The idea of this track was birthed during a gloomy lockdown afternoon. We didn’t like the idea of having a year without a new release; and although it may not be what people are expecting, I think this remix caps off the vibe of what has been a really strange year for all. So I hope everyone can find some sort of comfort in this song wherever they are in the world”
