We Came As Romans Unleash Monstrous Track ‘Daggers’ feat. Zero 9:36

We were recently blown away by metalcore band We Came As Romans‘ recently released tracks ‘Black Hole‘ feat. Beartooth‘s Caleb Shomo and ‘Darkbloom‘. It looks like the band aren’t quite done with 2021 (or guest features) just yet either. Overnight the band have unleashed brand new track ‘Daggers’ featuring rapper Zero 9:36, which the band have been playing live at recent shows.

To say this is the heavy era of We Came As Romans, would be a melodramatic understatement. So far we’ve heard the band dig into heavier corners, but ‘Daggers’ captures the absolute heart of this. The guitars kick in after an isolated vocal growl and then the sirens drop, with sustained mania. With an equally heavy chorus to the opening verse, it’s clear the band aren’t seeking balance with this track. The only rest given is when Zero 9:36 undergoes his verse to some drums, before he dissipates and the band revert back to metalcore mayhem.
