Boston Manor To Release Desperate Times Desperate Pleasures EP This Friday!

Holy heck, we did not see this one coming. After teasing us with two hot tracks already this year, UK power rockers Boston Manor will unveil a brand new EP titled Desperate Times Desperate Pleasures this Friday! What's more — the kind of "title" track, 'Desperate Pleasures' is already available right now.
The band's latest track is a scorching taste of that synth alt/rock goodness they've perfected to a tee with 'Algorithm' and 'Carbon Mono'. Lyrically, and in even the title itself, 'Desperate Pleasures' came about from the insurmountable change that was brought on over the past two years. Vocalist Henry Cox shares:
“It’s a song about generational change. I think the pandemic brought out some good in people but it also brought out a lot of nastiness. I saw a lot of appalling behaviour over the last 18 months & it made me feel quite depressed. As soon as people are placed under difficult circumstances they should come together, not start lashing out & taking everything for themselves. I guess this song is me hoping that things will get better.”
Surprise new song of the week? You bet it is! And it's only less than 48 hours left til the rest of the EP is available for our ears. GET READY.
