About a year and a half ago Phoenix metalcore band The Word Alive released their sixth studio album Monomania (our review here) and it looks like they're back with the next lifecycle. Overnight the band have revealed their latest track 'Wonderland' which currently exists mysteriously, however we hope it's the start of an EP or LP for the band.

Crunchy and distorted bass appears and frontman Tyler Smith launches into an eerie verse. Then towards the one-minute mark, 'Wonderland' breaks down and the rest of the band pour into action with The Word Alive giving it their all, and offering us a heavy beginning to what's next. Smith delivers a raw bridge as the rest of the band deliver a breakdown with the accomplice of shredding riffs and crisp drums. It's exciting to hear more new music from The Word Alive already, let's see what else the boys have in store.
