Mastodon Gear Up For New Album With Their Next Hymn ‘Teardrinker’

Only weeks after announcing their upcoming record Hushed and Grim, the almighty Mastodon have released a second single titled ‘Teardrinker’ to accompany ‘Pushing the Tides’ which got a wonderful reception from fans. Hushed and Grim is set to be released on October 29th and will be the band’s ninth album, which is an impressive feet. Keen to see what the boys will pull out of the bag for their tenth album.

So, what does ‘Teardrinker’ sound like? The five-minute track embraces hooks and fabulous vocal energy across the band. The chorus is incredibly melodic, technical and catch. Mastodon just keep reinventing new ways of expressing themselves, and it’s incredible. ‘Teardrinker’ is a riff-addict’s wet dream and the half-way bass and guitar solos that spans virtually the rest of the song will need you drinking a bottle of water to rehydrate.
