Headwreck Release Exciting New Single ‘Empty Space’

Upcoming Brisbane hardcore four piece Headwreck will crash the heavy music scene later this year with their debut EP, Glamorise Demise but first, you all need to get around their brand new track. ‘Empty Space’ is a cutting edge blend of thumping riffs and soaring metalcore soundscapes, colliding together to create one of the most exciting tracks to come from Brisbane’s heavy scene this year.

The song dives into anxiety-based dissociation, with vocalist Connor Hickman sharing:

I personally struggle with anxiety dissociation, so the lyrics are a direct reflection of the thoughts and feelings I have had while dealing with periods of disassociation. We feel like sonically this track is the perfect follow up to our last single “Freefall”, and we feel like we have really found our sound on this one.

I couldn’t agree more. Ever since I caught onto these guys with ‘Good Grief’ and then witnessing them live at Deadlights earlier in the year, Headwreck have grown from strength to strength. They are most definitely a band to keep on your radar as we ride out the rest of the year.
