Drastic Park Embrace the Hate with ‘Snakes & Ladders’

Hate? Who could hate these guys?! You gotta give it to the boys in Drastic Park to keep us hanging on for some of the most promising songs in Australian pop punk this year though. Unofficially dubbed as “Australia’s Blink-182”, this three piece are growing at a rapid rate since releasing ‘Meltdown’ earlier this year. So they’re doing alright for an independent band.

‘Snakes & Ladders’ is the Melbourne three piece’s newest jam that will absolutely tantalise your pop punk senses through an energetic blend of hardcore and punk musical styles. The band share:

“‘Snakes and Ladders’ is an anthem for anyone who has experienced others trying to bring them down, using the analogy of life being like a game of snakes and ladders that can’t be won. In other words, no matter how far you climb, you just slide back down again. Though it maintains a positive outlook, urging the listener to keep climbing.”

This latest banger marks Drastic Park’s strongest track to date (and my personal favourite!), and will no doubt see them attain an even bigger following over the coming months. On ya boys. Keep it up!
