Imminence Unlock Next Level Track ‘Ghost’

Imminence

Is it a nod to one of the biggest Swedish bands in metal? Who knows. We’re talking about metalcore band Imminence who’ve blown us away this year with tracks like ‘Temptation‘ and ‘Heaven in Hiding’. The musicians are incredibly diverse and have proved that bringing atypical instruments into the fold can absolutely enhance their metalcore sound. The band have graced us with a new song called ‘Ghost’ and it’s absolutely incredible.

Tracks like ‘Temptation’ had us waiting for breakdowns and certain metalcore aspects, whereas ‘Ghost’ flips that idea on its head. Imminence embrace metalcore flavours from the get-go with crunchy riffs and raspy vocals blasting. The chorus takes on influences from more of their incredible domestic exports In Flames and delves into some distinct Scandinavian melodic death metal elements, which is so awesome to hear fused with the as-it-is-experimental-metalcore recipe Imminence have going on. There is a scrumptious breakdown about three-quarter way into ‘Ghost’ that’ll have you throwing the track into your rotation before you can say ‘blegh‘.
