Darko (US) Keep Going in 2021 With Beastly Track 'Dragon Chaser'

It has been a mammoth year for the latest deathcore outfit on the block. Darko (US) consists of Glass Cloud/SPITE's Josh 'Baby J Miller' (ex-Emmure) and Chelsea Grin's Tom Barber. These guys have blown our minds recently - last year they unveiled themselves to the world with a debut release titled Pt 1. Dethmask and only a few months ago they released their self-titled record, a high-potential AOTY on many of our lists. The beauty of this is that Baby J is a multi-instrumentalist and experimentalist, and Barber carries vocal duties, so together they're simply unstoppable.
Amassing new material for Darko (US) is not all these two deathcore-heads have been up to with Barber recently featuring on Tallah's recent track 'Vanilla Paste' and no doubt cooking up some new Chelsea Grin bangers in the kitchen in between, and of course Baby J who'd be starting to get busy with SPITE.
Well, they've been teasing it for a couple of weeks and Darko (US) are back already with brand new single 'Dragon Chaser' which they've debuted on YouTube with a live play-through (see below). The play-through is absolutely insane, but the studio version captures every molecule of production, and that's what you'll really froth over. 'Dragon Chaser' is highly technical and kind of starts ominously like an Emmure track right, but holds that low-string discomfort longer than an Emmure track would. Baby J alternates between constant riffage and blistering drums, whilst Barber comes in with immense vocal variation, including an isolated section that hits hard with crescendo. If this track is the first taste of another LP (albeit crazily soon after their first one only months ago), then Darko (US) fans are going to need to brace for impact.
