Still frothing Darko, the lovechild of Chelsea Grin and Emmure? We certainly are - their self-titled record from earlier this year was an absolute monster, and the band have teased even more is in store for 2021.

50% of Darko's brain-trust is Baby J and the scene is loving everything this guy lays his hands on, because it all ends up sounding like absolute fire. Well, he's played a bit of metalcore musical chairs in the last week or two as he's announced his exit from Emmure which may have led fans to believe that he may want to solely focus on Darko.

Turns out Baby J has picked up another musical project to keep him even busier and has joined Michigan hardcore punk band SPITE. The announcement coincides with Rise Records revealing the band is the next to join their hot roster, and suggests SPITE have some new music on the way. This is really exciting as we'll get to hear the highly talented Baby J spread his creativity in other areas, as well as continue to refine the blistering Darko sound.

Got all that folks? Darko's self-titled album still slaps, more Darko is coming your way, Baby J leaves Emmure and joins SPITE who got signed to Rise Records, and hopefully new SPITE on the way.
