Guns N Roses Release Studio Version of ‘ABSUЯD’
#NewMusicFriday may just be getting started folks. Overnight the legendary Guns N Roses teased a live snippet of brand new song ‘ABSUЯD’ which received some mixed comments, but we’ve now been revealed the studio version of the track. Now, is the song new? Well, kind of. The band are referring to it as an unreleased song that was originally titled ‘Silkworms’ but has since been renamed.
‘ABSUЯD’ has Slash in full-swing and front-man Axl Rose showing a bit more vocal range than we’re used to. It’s a pretty versatile track for the band, and in a way shows that they’ve still ‘got it’, albeit with the disclaimer that we’re not quite sure when it was written and recorded. However, it may have been written during the Chinese Democracy sessions, in 2001. Either way, enjoy a brand new Guns N Roses track everybody.
The band are set to return to Australian shores this November, however we’re a bit hesitant given the current Covid landscape in Australia, but you never know.
