Dee Snider and Corpsegrinder – A Collab Made In Hell

I’ve been listening to various sub-genres of hard rock and heavy metal since before I sprung my first strain of unnecessary body hair in the 80’s and not in all that time did I think that Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider and Cannibal Corpse’s George ‘Corpsegrinder’ Fisher would collaborate on a single fucking thing ever.

Even when I heard that these two Titans had put their collective throats together to pump out a song, I immediately thought “Jesus Duane, you have to check this out to see just how delusional these Kent’s are to think that this was a good idea.” Well fuck me deaf, these two legends have gone and proven me so ducking wrong. This song is an absolute belter and I’ll listen to it any day of the week over ‘Cum on Feel The Noise‘ for the millionth fricken time.

These two vastly different vocalists have managed to come together on ‘Time To Choose‘ so brilliantly and after having listened to this a few times I can’t slag this off even a little bit. In fact it’s as awesome as a mosh pit before covid and you’ve wasted enough fucking time reading my bullshit. The song comces from Snider’s new album Leave A Scar which is set for release on July 30th via Napalm Records.

On his fifth studio album, Dee says:

“By the end of 2020, I knew I not only had to get back into the studio, but for the first time since the ’90s, I wanted – no, needed – to be a part of the writing process. I reached out to my producer Jamey Jasta and told him I was ready to make another record. Leave a Scar is filled with messages to and for the silent voices in the world who need someone to speak out on their behalf. This is my purpose.”

Press Play. Throw your horns up. Bang your head. Repeat.
