Palaye Royale Return with New Single ‘Punching Bag’

Alt/rock trio Palaye Royale are back with the new tunes after dropping their hotly anticipated album, The Bastards last year (our review here). While many might be more familiar with frontman Remington Leith recently being the singing voice to Andy Black’s character on Paradise City (watch the series on Amazon Prime now!), the band have built an army of diehard fans off releases like The Bastards and their 2016 debut Boom Boom Room.

Coming in hot this year is new single ‘Punching Bag’, which comes as one half of a two-track bundle alongside another new track, ‘No Love in LA’. The band share:

Truth, honesty and angst is what we aimed to capture collectively as a band throughout this writing process. We found a new appreciation for one another during this recording process, becoming more accepting of our past and more satisfied with our present because of the art we created in what we feel is our most important music we’ve released to date.

Punching Bag and No Love In LA we’ve gone beyond what we ever thought possible musically and lyrically by putting faith in each other, trusting our instincts and allowing real creative freedom to ourselves and our producer, Chris Greatti. It is with massive excitement and feelings of triumph that we raise the curtain on what is most certainly our boldest era yet. We hope you’re ready for the journey.

The second track, ‘No Love in LA’ is set to premiere over the weekend. But in the meantime, give ‘Punching Bag’ a spin below. It’s an anthem that’s set to send you on a rollercoaster of emotions.
