There’s Something For Everyone in Shangrila’s New Rock Anthem ‘Lift Me Up’

Perth alternative rockers Shangrila have unleashed the first single off of their forthcoming new EP, Analog Youth today and it sounds like the song you need if you’ve been feeling a little…fed up and over life. ‘Lift Me Up’ is the unbeatable rock anthem pouring a fountain of hope over its melodic waves of rocky beats. Balancing an array of styles like fellow Aussies Trophy Eyes and Hands Like Houses do, these West Aussie upcomers will be your new saviour of hope.

Vocalist Devyn Jupp shares the song’s premise:

“Once you enter your twenties, you start to experience the world differently, everything becomes a lot more real. Things you might have been lucky enough to avoid in your younger years like heartbreak, deaths of friends or family and mental health all tend to expose themselves throughout this time in your life.”

No doubt you’ll fall in love with Shangrila’s raw emotion and edgy yet powerful sonics as you listen along. What a tune!
