Mike’s Dead Dropped Bangin’ Nu-Metal Track ‘DEAD’

Mike's Dead

Nu-metal/horror one-man-band Mike’s Dead built some anticipation earlier in the year with the release of singles ‘SICK‘, ‘NIGHTMARES’ and now ‘DEAD’. Mike’s teased an upcoming EP, but no official release date has been earmarked just yet. We had a chat to Mike’s Dead earlier in the year to learn about his musical journey and switch from hip-hop influences to the darker/goth style of metal that he’s been dabbling with this year.

‘DEAD’ starts off with a noughties Linkin Park Mike Shinoda influenced verse with sizzling riffs and steady beats. The chorus simmers down to Mike’s signature raspy-low-tone style, before he practices some brief guttural efforts. The track is relatively short, spanning less than two and a half minutes, but will give fans the dose of Mike they need as he continues to tease a looming upcoming release.
