Hot Milk Rock Their Heaviest Single Yet with 'I Just Wanna Know What Happens When I'm Dead'

Ever since I came across UK alternative/rock outfit Hot Milk, they've kinda been the hottest act to follow in my eyes. From their addictively catchy pop punk on debut EP, Are You Feeling Alive? to the slices of metallic pop being carved through tracks like 'California's Burning' and 'Candy Coated Lies', it almost feels like this band are out of control.

It's pretty evident that this angsty, yet unbelievably talented four-piece do not wish to be placed in a box or, follow any set of guidelines society wants to throw at them. The band's gripping new single does exactly this, but packs so much more. 'I Just Wanna Know What Happens When I'm Dead' is a tiny but explosive feast for your ears. From the anthemic, thumping emo rock crashing over you to vocalist Han Mee's melodic pop interwining with co-vocalist Jim Shaw's relentless tones, the song is the band's darkest efforts yet.

If you're like me and have been following the band for some time, think of their latest banger as being halfway between 'Wide Awake' and 'California's Burning', with an added layer of emo-pop sensibility thrown into the mix. It's catchy, wrapped full of emotions and chaotic as hell, and I could listen to this tasty little monster all weekend.
