Swedish Metalcore Band Imminence Release Heavy Hitter 'Temptation'

Swedish metalcore band Imminence have been on the scene for quite a while and have released three studio albums. Signed to Arising Empire, the band have dropped their heaviest song to date this week titled 'Temptation' and it's got the attention of the industry.

The 4-minute song/video includes vocalist Eddie Berg who uniquely holds a violin and adds incredible elements of the track that metalcore bands would often artificially create. The track includes staple metalcore recipes vocally and instrumentally which gets your attention, but then it blends in with distinct elements the band bring in, including the steady violin components throughout. The band lose themselves mid-way through the track for some groovy riffs. It's interesting to hear a band fit the metalcore mould from that corner of the world when they're best known for their melodic death metal, but these guys are working it, and if you haven't heard of them before - it's a good opportunity to do so now. Oh, and look out for a delicious breakdown in the last thirty seconds of the song.
