There's More Simple Creatures Music On the Way!

Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth haven't gotten together for their alternative/pop side project Simple Creatures since the duo headed our way pre-COVID for 2019's Good Things Festival. The pair brought their upbeat, electronically-infused punk tunes and delighted Aussie fans everywhere.
If you were one of those fans and have been patiently waiting what else is up for Simple Creatures, I'm not gonna lie, due to lockdowns and a world pandemic not much has happened. However, we did catch up with Alex recently for a fun ol' chat about writing for All Time Low and Simple Creatures which led to reflecting on his appearances at Good Things. It also opened up the question about Simple Creatures' future:
"I was actually just on the phone with Mark today talking about when we’re going to get together next and write some songs. So hopefully soon. Everybody over here has been fortunate we’ve been able to get our vaccines underway, so Mark and I are feeling a little bit safer and a little bit better about seeing each other in person now and actually being able to write. It’s going to be fun."
While it's clear both All Time Low and Blink-182 remain a priority for Alex and Mark, it's cool that they'll get to flex their creative juices into Simple Creatures and I don't know about you, but they do make a fresh cut of pop punk party tunes to have a dance to at a festival gig. Although you'll probably have to wait 'til 2022 for that now.
More on that when it comes...
