Lose Yourself in Deadlights’ Newest Single ‘The King of Nowhere’

Who else is stoked that Brisbane metalcore act Deadlights are finally coming back with the tunes? Straight off the back of their latest track, ‘Born Of A Lie’, the band are giving us another epic track off of their hotly anticipated new album, The Uncanny Valley.

Called ‘The King of Nowhere’, the song kicks off with a low tempo beat before truly delivering with soaring melodies and thumping riffs that kinda transcends Deadlights into the unknown. Vocalist Dylan Davidson explains the meaning behind their latest track:

“‘Nowhere’ is the wasteland of the unwatered mind. It is the dark place we barricade ourselves in when we want to hide from reality. ‘The King Of Nowhere’ is a song about putting yourself in this place and getting lost with no way out.”

Honestly, these guys are incredible at what they do, and this is just the tip of the iceberg for what’s ahead from the band this year when The Uncanny Valley is released on May 21 through Greyscale Records.
