Royals Drop Catchy New Single 'Worldwide Catastrophe'

Like most of us, UK pop punk five piece Royals are pretty fed up with how certain governments around the world have handled the COVID-19 pandemic. The band have dropped a punchy new single called 'Worldwide Catastrophe', sharing their emotions about the world in 2021 and how important it is for today's youth to stand up and voice their opinions. Vocalist Luke Smithson shares:
"'Worldwide Catastrophe' is intended to put across a message about how we live in a world full of selfishness, greed & hate amongst other awful things. I believe our generation can be the voice to make changes to these things and help make the world a better place. This is the message I wanted to get across lyrically when writing this song. Since our last release we have developed as a band on so many levels and this song is a prime example of what you can expect from Royals in the near future."
Featuring an incredibly catchy chorus that gives the song an uplifting boost, 'Worldwide Catastrophe' follows similar antics from Royals' previous single last year, 'Fair-Weather Friend' which saw them produce infectious pop punk melodies reminiscent of some of our favourites like Stand Atlantic, State Champs and All Time Low. Definitely keep your eyes and ears peeled for more from Royals as they look to also attain 'pop punk royalty' status one day.
