Tom DeLonge Talks Angels & Airwaves Future Plans Including Australian Tour

If it feels like forever since Angels & Airwaves released an album, well, you’re not too far off how it feels (The Dream Walker was released way back in 2014) BUT hope is on the horizon with after Ava himself, Tom DeLonge revealed some future plans for the band… including a trip down under!

On Instagram, the man discussed that the album is on the way (reports say this year via their new label Rise Records) and not only will there be multiple music videos and a new single dropping soon BUT the band are planning a world tour (once, you know, they can get around the world again) and Australia is on that list!

With COVID vaccines being delivered and administrated across the globe, I can foresee a return to international travel or gigs maaaayyybe happening in 2022 (I’m not a professional or expert on the idea, that’s just what I see in the forecast ahead) so if that has any merit to it, we might be seeing AvA back down under for the first time since their appearance at Soundwave Festival 2011.

Until then, revisit the band’s back catalogue and get keen for what’s to come!

Chip in a buck or two for the WoS crew!
