August Burns Red Drop New Song 'Standing in the Storm'

US metalheads August Burns Red only unleashed their latest album, Guardians last April (our review here) but have used their downtime during COVID-19 to continue spruiking their musical abilities. The band dropped an instrumental working of Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' as well as a tasty metal cover of System of a Down's 'Chop Suey'.
Now before you think, "have they turned into a metal covers band?", stop right there. August Burns Red are kicking off 2021 strong with heaavy melodic metal anthem, 'Standing in the Storm'. Proving the guys are tighter than ever, the new track sees ABR firmly standing their ground, with lead guitarist JB Brubaker sharing:
"'Standing in the Storm' is a song about fighting for something important to you, and enduring the hardships that come with that fight. We had a lot of fun with this track and I'm pumped on how it came out."
Keeping it heavy AF! We like!
