Since signing to InVogue Records in late 2020, Perth metalcore outfit Patient Sixty-Seven have set themselves in a nice position for these next few months. We've been following the boys for a while now and always kinda had a feeling they'd be making a difference in the industry someday.

To kick off their exciting year ahead, Patient Sixty-Seven have just unleashed their brand new single 'Antithesis', which also features Dayseeker vocalist Rory Rodriguez. The song is a dynamic shift in the band's style, seeing them experiment with melodic riffs and contrasting cleans. Vocalist Tom Kiely shares the learning experience that their latest release provided:

"Antithesis was a tough song to write...it signifies the difficulty in having someone you care for deeply go through a a battle with addiction and trauma. It's wrestling back and forth between your own duty of care, blind love for that person, and recognizing the toll it's taken on both them and yourself - ultimately leading to an inability to comprehend how to free oneself."

"I'm so thankful with how it came out; it's a bit of a different side for our band and we hope people can connect with it and enjoy something new from us. We were lucky enough to team up with Rory [Rodriguez] who really is one of my favourite musicians around and he just made it all mean that much more...it's a heartfelt song and he really helped in bringing it all together."

Ultimately proving they're one of the most exciting acts to watch right now, Patient Sixty-Seven are only getting started and after hearing this monster track, I would not be sleeping on these guys this year.
