As this dreaded year finally comes to a close, we’re starting to slowly see parts of our old lives returning including shows and Perth’s Voyager hit the stage last weekend for the first time in, well, I can’t even remember, to remind us all why they’re one of the best prog bands to come from the west since Karnivool!

The set even included the rare performance of ‘The Eleventh Meridian‘ from the band’s first album Element V which sent old school fans into a frenzy! The band looked just as stoked to be on stage again as we were to be in attendance watching them! The night ended with the cheesiest of songs ever, ‘White Shadow‘, scoring spin and goddamn it was good being back in front of a band again!

Here’s to many more shows in 2021…
