OMFG! August Burns Red Covered SOAD's Classic 'Chop Suey'

Christmas has come early for metalheads with August Burns Red announcing they've covered an absolute classic anthem from System of a Down AND they've also included clean vocals!

On the cover's conception, lead guitarist JB Brubaker says:

"After years of playing 'Chop Suey!' over the PA system right before we took the stage at our shows, we decided to take a crack at the song ourselves... This is truly one of the most legendary rock/metal songs of all time and it was so much fun to cover. I'm especially proud of our singer Jake and our bassist Dustin. We haven't done much clean singing in our music and this song showcases our vocalists in a whole new way."

The cover should draw also light to the fact System of a Down returned with two news songs this year after 15 years to raise awareness, aid and basic supplies for those affected by the hideous acts happening in Artsakh at the hands of the current corrupt regimes of Aliyev in Azerbaijan and Erdogan in Turkey. If you missed that news, you better play catch up here!
