Wall of Sound presents: “2020 YEAR IN REVIEW” – by Alpha Wolf’s Sabian Lynch

2020 was supposed to be the year that Alpha Wolf exploded across the globe and to be completely honest with you, despite having to cut short, their US Tour alongside Fit For A King, Chelsea Grin and Crystal Lake they made the pandemic their bitch and released one of the BEST heavy albums of the year with a quiet place to die (our review here). They pushed hard to get the word out about their release, they adapted to the new rules and regulations quickly and even produced some incredible music videos for their album’s singles.

This band are next level, they have certainly left their mark on the heavy music scene and next year, once touring returns, we are going to have our minds blown by just how far they’ve come. If you’re not part of the cvlt yet, you’re absolutely missing out!

We grabbed the man everyone started dressing like during the pandemic for a chat about his year, how COVID hit him and the band and what he enjoyed most from the music world… Here’s Sabian Lynch‘s 2020 Year in Review…

HOW DID COVID AFFECT YOU/YOUR BAND?

We obviously lost a lot of touring but it made us focus on rolling out our album as best as we can, and we’re also directing our creative minds into other aspects of the band that we never thought we’d have the time for, such as the Patreon we just launched as well as some other to be announced projects

BIGGEST THING YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF IN 2020?

2020 for me has been the year to get off my ass and get shit done that I’ve put off for years, I got my licence, I got a car, I got glasses and I’m setting myself up. Super long overdue but definitely needed

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2021?

Ripping fat gigs and probably doing 20 laps of Aus
