All Time Low Reveal ‘Monsters’ with Blackbear AND Demi Lovato!

All Time Low are shedding new life into their hit song, ‘Monsters’, taken off of their latest album, Wake Up Sunshine (our review here). The US pop punkers already had Blackbear appear on the original track, but have since recruited pop singer Demi Lovato to add a fresh element to the mix.

A collaboration that’s been almost ten years in the making (according to All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth anyway), the new version of ‘Monsters’ doesn’t sway too far from the original—let’s be real, the song is a banger in its own right. However, Demi’s powerhouse vocals jumps straight in following Blackbear’s appearance and in true rockstar form, she really does take centre stage.

Demi is no stranger to our alternative/emo scene either. The former Disney star has previously collaborated with emo legends Fall Out Boy on their song ‘Irresistible’, and more recently linked up with Blink-182’s Travis Barker to release a special edition of her own single ‘I Love Me’.

It’s undeniable that ‘Monsters’ was made to be the standout pop track of Wake Up Sunshine, and this song’s kinda just grown on me more with each listen. Plus, I can’t help but love me an emo pop collab. A+ combo, and we kinda want more guys!
