Stuck Out Drop New Song ‘Inverse’

Straight off the back of their latest signing to Greyscale Records last month, Melbourne pop punk boys Stuck Out have dropped their second single. ‘Inverse’ dives into the reckless behaviours that we’re all too familiar with when it comes to alcohol, and might serve as a reminder to us all before we head out on a night on the town. The song is super punchy and melodic, and I’m getting major Trophy Eyes feels towards the end here. So we can only expect good things to come from Stuck Out from here on out! Vocalist Josh Walker shares:

This song looks at self-destructive behaviour and the lies we tell ourselves to excuse harmful choices. It’s very easy to shift and project blame onto things around us when we’re facing a problem and ignore our own negative contribution to the issue. I’ve had an on-and-off problem with alcohol and this song voices the struggle between my own self-awareness and blissful ignorance.”

Stuck Out’s new EP, Lie Through Your Teeth is out December 18th through Greyscale Records. Pre-order here
