The Dangerous Summer Drop New Single ‘I’m Alive’ + Announce New EP

US alternative/emo/rock outfit The Dangerous Summer have returned this week with a brand new single called ‘I’m Alive’. The song’s an anthem filled with gratitude for living and enjoying the little things in life. Featuring scenes of everyday settings, from sitting on a beach, to roadtrippin’ to hanging with mates, ‘I’m Alive’ is driven by a guitar-driven melody and is a super cathartic song filled with hope and bliss. Something we kinda all need right now this year.

The Dangerous Summer have been hitting the ground running since dropping their debut album, Reach for the Sun in 2009 which featured one of their most popular songs to date, ‘Where I Want To Be’. ‘I’m Alive’ sees the band continue their pop/rock driven roots and is the first track to appear off of their forthcoming EP, All That is Left of the Blue Sky. This marks the band’s first release without a label backing, and I am hella keen to see where the guys go from here on out.

All That is Left of the Blue Sky is out December 4th. Pre-order bundles available here
