Love Your Aussie Music Heavy? Have A Look At Vilify!

When she’s not slappin’ the bass and screaming in The Beautiful Monument and Liberties, frontwoman Amy McIntosh is dipping her toes in other musical projects, and her latest offering has arrived in the form of Vilify!

Featuring fellow Liberties bandmate Keiran Jackson on drums and newcomer Deni Hourihan (Cold Era) on guitar, the trio are set to make their mark on the world with their debut single ‘Habit‘ which is an absolute screamfest from Ms McIntosh. We’ve seen her scream her lungs out in small doses on stage with The Beautiful Monument, but this is non-stop from start to finish!

On the new project, Amy told us:

“Vilify is built on the premise of equality. Each member has equal drive, equal passion and equal say. We want to push ourselves to explore outside of the box musically whilst maintaining the sentiment of relatability and reassurance for anyone searching.”

And in a fun twist, she’s dropped playing an instrument in favour of screaming only… and why did she come to that decision:

“I want to live out my life long dream of being able to do the macarena whilst performing.”

The band’s debut EP Clarity is out on December 4th so get keen on that!
