Tell Dad AC/DC Are Back. Listen To ‘Shot In The Dark’ Now!

Aussie rock icons AC/DC are set to release their seventeenth album (sixteenth international release), PWRϟUP at the end of this year. The band began dropping teasers in various cities around the world (as well as on social media) for the forthcoming album’s title, and we are definitely intrigued to see what they do next. This marks the band’s first release since the return of vocalist Brian Johnson who departed the group due to hearing/health issues in 2016 and drummer Phil Rudd who was sentenced to house arrest back in 2015 due to legal issues (which he has since completed).

PWRϟUP marks the band’s first offering since they released Rock Or Bust six years ago and the first single from it is ‘Shot in the Dark‘ which is out now across the globe! The song has the band’s iconic guitar riff sound made famous by Angus Young and when teamed up with frontman Brian Johnson, it’s an instant classic that fans will no doubt lap up like dog water!

Old school AC/DC fans will know this will be the first release since the passing of legendary guitarist Malcolm Young back in 2017 and rumours say some of his unused riffs will be heard throughout the record. We hope to see the boys paying homage to the late and great Young on this and no doubt it’s going to be an emotional listen for everyone involved!

No word yet on if fill-in vocalist Axl Rose (of Gunners) will make an appearance or not but let’s hope he stays away… AC/DC‘s forthcoming album, PWRϟUP is out November 13th through Sony Music.

AC/DC is Angus Young (Lead Guitar), Brian Johnson (Vocals), Cliff Williams (Bass), Phil Rudd (Drums) and Stevie Young (Rhythm Guitar)
