Glimmers Share New Single 'For Me It's You'
If you loved Boys Like Girls and We Are The In Crowd back during the mid-2000's heyday, then trust me, you're going to love this new band that's come across our peripherals recently. US pop rock band glimmers hail from Atlanta, Georgia and is fronted by vocalist Maggie Schneider. The band's shimmering brand of guitar-driven pop may throw you back to your fave Disney film soundtrack, but don't let that deter you.
glimmer's new single, 'For Me It's You' is a bright-eyed, hopeful tune about keeping your friends close. Written for her very close friend, Jack Wachtel (who also features on the song), frontwoman Maggie Schneider shares:
“This song is honestly about Jack and I’s friendship, and I wrote it with him specifically in mind – his voice is incredible. It’s about always being able to pick back up from where a friendship left off, no matter how much time has passed. You can always count on this person to have your back, and to pick up the phone when you call. “For Me It’s You” shows how much we’ve grown up and found ourselves these last 5 years, all while still being there for each other.”
