My Chemical Romance Reschedule NZ Show to 2021

Be still emo hearts, the My Chemical Romance reunion is still on the cards…if this Trans Tasman travel bubble opens up by November 2021. The band have dropped a surprise reschedule date of their New Zealand show that was originally slated for March 25th, 2020.

The NZ concert promoter, CRS Management released a statement on Facebook regarding the new date overnight:

The My Chemical Romance show scheduled for Wednesday 25 March 2020 at Outer Fields, Western Springs will now take place on Saturday 6 November 2021. Special guests to be announced at a later date. Existing tickets remain valid for the new date without the need for exchange. Ticket holders unable to attend the new dates can obtain a refund from Ticketmaster. Refund requests must be submitted prior to 5pm, October 9.

No word yet if Jimmy Eat World are set to join them for this new date as yet, but if your feet are feeling the itch from the lack of travelling done this year, you may wanna pencil in 6th November 2021 as a possible vacation across the ditch. Or if you’d rather not travel far, keep your fingers crossed for an Australian tour to line up surrounding this date and prepare your eyeliners and tissues… you’ll need them.
